Ensuring Safety & Dignity:

How to Decide when it is Time to Turn in the Car Keys

 

Join NeuroBalance Center, Officer Smith of the Barrington Police Department and Barrington Area Council on Aging as we discuss safe driving!


Conversations about giving up driving can be challenging, as it involves a change in independence. However, prioritizing safety and maintaining dignity throughout the process is crucial when it comes to making this decision. Both you and your loved ones should be aware of the potential dangers of driving and understand that there are solutions available. Join us as we discuss safe driving with Officer Smith of the Barrington Police Department and options through Barrington Area Council on Aging regarding social support and transportation.


This event continues our NeuroBalance Center 2025 Lunch & Learn series. Clients, their families, and caregivers are invited to bring their lunch and enjoy discussions on various topics relevant to NBC Clients and families. Tickets are $15 per person and include light refreshments. Stay tuned for more events scheduled!

    New at NeuroBalance Center:

    Mental Health Services!

     

    As of July 14, 2025, Dr. Tracy will be adding Therapeutic Counseling Services to her offerings here, in addition to the Peer Support Group. She will be here on the third Tuesday of the month, from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm. 

     

    Services Include:

     

    Hypnosis

    Hypnosis is a practice where the trusted psychologist guides the patient, using verbal direction, into a deeply relaxed state. Sessions allow the opportunity for one to reduce anxiety and tension, increase circulation and positive sensory experiences, and discover root causes for physical and psychological pain. 

    Cost: $250 for 60 minutes

    Therapy

    Therapy addresses psychological conditions, as well as physical and mental stress. In a private, supportive setting, psychologists help patients explore their thoughts and behaviors, offering strategies to manage symptoms and improve well-being. The result is a better quality of life.

    1. Initial Evaluation (required for all new Clients): $250 for 60 minutes
    2. Couple's Counseling: $250 for 60 minutes
    3. Individual Counseling: $220 for 60 minutes, $195 for 45 minutes, $175 for 30 minutes
    4. Family Counseling: $250 for 60 minutes

    About Dr. Tracy Aneziris

     

    Dr. Aneziris specializes in clinical psychology, health, and wellness. She
    helps people meet their goals by focusing on how their emotional
    experiences impact their health. Her clinical experiences include
    extensive work with adults in private practices and pain rehab centers,
    with geriatric populations in nursing homes, and with children,
    adolescents, and families in community mental health settings.
    Dr. Aneziris has conducted several studies on chronic illnesses, intimate
    partner violence, and opioid abuse. She is passionate about helping
    patients develop healthier behaviors, increase their emotional health, and
    learn how to understand and care for their bodies.

    We are excited to announce that as of July 14, 2025, massage services are now available on Fridays from 8:30 am - 2:00 pm!

     

    We are also now offering 120-minute sessions! Please contact the Center for full availability and to schedule your next session with Violet.
